It’s hard to believe our month in California has come to an end. We can’t even begin to tell you what an adventure it was, having spent hours driving from concerts to studio sessions, meeting lots of new people, and facing various disappointing moments as well as some unbelievable opportunities. All in all, it was a faith-stretching time that kept us clinging to the fact that God is in control no matter what the circumstances. We have never headed into a trip that was as unscheduled as this one. There were only 4 dates on the calendar when we left, and yet, there was never a dull moment!

June 9 Fly to Cali
June 10-11 Rehearsing for Fishfest / Shaun’s 18th birthday
June 12 Fishfest!
June 13 Yorba Linda Friends 5-6th grade (talked about waiting to date)
June 15 Children’s Hospital of OC, Radio Lollipop interview, visit patients
June 16-20 Family driving vacation! Red Woods, San Francisco, Yosemite (you’d
think we’d be sick of driving!)
June 22-23 Recording with producer, Michael Linney, in Hollywood

June 24 Outreach at Newport Beach, Shaun shares the gospel with the crowd
June 25 Worship concert with several other bands in Vista, CA
June 26 Home concert, boys talk to teens about dating standards, seeking Christ
June 29 Rehearsal for Spirit West Coast at “Mates” in Burbank
June 30 Drive to Monterey, stay with Campus Crusade military ministry friends

July 1 Promote 3UNION at SWC, meet lots of people, invite to concert

July 2 Play on Air1 stage!!! along with other Christian bands like Family Force
Five, Hawk Nelson, and Seventh Day Slumber!
July 3 Drive back to Anaheim
July 4 Lead worship for JH/HS students at Yorba Linda Friends Church
July 5 Epic sandcastle building day with family
July 6 More recording with Linney
July 7 Fly back to Indy!

Thank you so much for praying! No one got sick, we had very few technical issues, God provided transportation and housing, and we made it home safely (apart from a few damaged suitcases)! We’ll have more news to share soon. Thanks for joining us in this journey – we can’t wait to see what God has in store next!
